Marc Stuckey is a firm favorite on The repair shop, where he is the radio expert. During his time on the show, Mark repaired a 1960s jukebox and tape recorder among many other items, still with huge sentimental value behind it.

Mark runs a classic radio shop in Cromer, Norfolk. On the website, Mark talked about his time on The repair shopwriting: “I have worked on the BBC series The Repair Shop for the past four series… I have repaired/restored a lot of vintage and classic electronic equipment, from radios, amplifiers, tape recorders, radiograms etc to a juke -box plus many more for show.”

Speaking of his interest in radio restoration, he wrote: “I would say that people like me are interested in the pastmaybe because it seems like it was better times, things were less complicated and heard the sound coming from a radio speaker.

“Perhaps the family was sitting listening to Clithero Kid, The Navy Lark on a Sunday noon or late at night or hearing from a 1930s radio that the war in Europe was over.

“That’s where I get the buzz, something from the past that I can’t just look back on but have the same enjoyment that those original owners had, so many years ago.”

Mark fixed some amazing things on the show

He also talked about fixing a special jukebox on the show, saying, “The Jukebox was a daunting task to get it fully operational againbut when you realize that owner Geoff had so many memories related to it, even in difficult times, it was always on your mind to keep you going.”

Mark likes to keep his private life out of the spotlight, so little is known if he is married or has children.
