The French League was marred by controversy last week after the abandonment of a Ligue 1 game between Marseille and Nice due to the violence of the crowd, Marca.

A man was seen in an electronics store wearing a Marseille shirt with an anti-Lionel Messi written on the back, vandalizing the shop.

The video clip which quickly went viral online revealed that the man had destroyed several televisions on display.

The Marseille campaign so far

Fabrice Nsakala freaked everyone out in the second half of Saturday, August 21 when he fell to the ground, forcing the tie to stop momentarily.
