AAPEX 2022 Announces On-Site Training of Repair Shop Headquarters

AAPEX 2022 has announced the Repair Shop HQ’s range of technical and business management training to keep shop owners, service advisors and technicians ahead of the curve and ready for the future. AAPEX will take place Tuesday, November 1 through Thursday, November 3 at the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum Conference Center in Las Vegas.

AAPEX relied on a panel of traders to select this year’s training. The panel reviewed more than 150 submissions and identified the training that would best equip service professionals with the skills needed to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow. Beginner, intermediate and advanced level training will be led by top trainers and speakers in the industry, including Mike Reynolds, Mobile Automotive Service Solutions; John Thornton, Autotrain, Inc.; Eric Ziegler, EZ Diagnostic Solutions; Greg Bunch, Transformers Institute; Bob Cushing, Advance Auto Parts; and Kim and Brian Walker, Shop Marketing Pros. For the full line of trainers, visit the Repair Shop Headquarters Speakers.

Technical training will include ADAS systems and calibrations, hybrid and EV case studies, CAN bus diagnostics, electrical diagnostics, modern induction systems and the use of current probes to diagnose driving dilemmas.

Business management training will focus on a range of topics, including marketing strategies, inclusive hiring, employee onboarding and retention practices, the modern connected store, selling with confidence and creating a culture that employees will embrace.

All sessions will take place in the training rooms at Repair Shop Headquarters, located on Level 1 of The Venetian Expo, and are accredited for the Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) and Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) designations.
